About Us
Davis Machine Shop, Inc., in Lindsay, OK, is a family owned and operated full service machine shop. We manufacture high quality downhole tools in our 14,000 sq. ft. facility. We also have an additional 6,000 sq. ft. warehouse area.
Omer Neal “Red” Davis established the machine shop in Lindsay April 1st 1974. Red Davis started operation as an oil field “Job Shop” with three pieces of manual equipment in a small garage.
Making quality and delivery top priority, Davis Machine Shop, Inc has grown into a full service machine shop with state of the art CNC equipment. Lathe capacities range from 1″ diameter up to 40 1/2″ swing with spindle bores to 12″ I.D. and lengths up to 40 ft.
By developing a working relationship with providers of outside services, Davis Machine Shop, Inc. can provide a completed quality part built to customer specifications.
Davis Machine Shop, Inc moves forward into the 21st century with Wayne Doyal as shop supervisor assisted by Clinton Taylor as milling foreman.
Upon Red’s death in 2004 his wife, Lillie, assisted by daughters Lea Ann in bookkeeping, and Cheryl in quality control, handles the day to day operation of the company.
